The Bachelor of Science Nursing (BScN) is a program that prepares nurses to practice in a variety of health care settings. The curriculum is a blend of biological, social sciences, humanities and nursing courses, combining academic and professional theory with nursing practice.

First Aid

First Aid
Nursing students must complete the Standard Intermediate First Aid CPR AED (CSA)  Level BLS/HCP certification they begin their clinical placements (see your SharePoint Site for exact deadlines).   If you have a current certification, please submit your certificate on HSPnet. The School of Nursinghas a partnership with Braveheart First Aid to provide courses at Acadia.

Transfer Students

Transfer Students
Acadia University welcomes transfer students from other institutions.  After you apply, the CBU/AU Registrar Team will review your transcript and provide a listing of transfer credits accepted.  After reviewing your transfer credits, the Academic Advisor can advise on your registration.
